David Moyes has endured a difficult time since taking over from Sir Alex Ferguson at Old Trafford.
And a disappointing season was made even worse this afternoon as Manchester United fell to a dramatic 2-2 draw at home to Fulham, despite enjoying over 70% of the possession and spending almost the entire 90 minutes in Fulham’s half.
Two goals in two minutes in the second-half overturned Fulham’s first-half lead, but Darren Bent’s 94th minute header gave the Premier League’s bottom side a precious point.
And United’s struggle to score a goal against a side with the worst defensive record in the Premier League this season raised more questions of Moyes’ ability to continue Fergie’s trophy-hauling reign at United.
